Hey Everybody!! I know it's been a while. I've been a little busy with the farmer's markets, so please forgive me with all your hearts!! :)
Okay, so here's the deal. I have been secretly working on a sugar scrub recipe for quite some time. Sugar scrubs are good for exfoliating and removing dead skin. It was either too oily, too loose, or the opposite, too stiff. I've tried adding soap, whether it was melting down cold process soap or using melt and pour. I've tried adding liquid soap. Then I decided to eliminate soap all together and ...
Finally, finally, finally!! I think I FINALLY got it! WOOO HOO! The end result is an emulsified sugar scrub...which means there is absolutely no separation. Oily, Goopy, Mess..BE GONE!! YOU'RE NOT WELCOME HERE!!
This recipe has more of a lotion-like appearance the more you rub it on. While you are in the shower, either before or after you wash (I prefer after, so I can retain the moisture), just take a scoop of the scrub and rub it onto your skin in circular motions. I strongly recommend that you do not use this on your face. It contains many skin-loving ingredients such as shea and mango butters that are known to leave your skin feeling nice and moisturized. If only you could see the smile on my face tonight. Oh wait...there it goes!
Keep an eye out for these sugar scrubs on the website. They'll be up shortly. Off to bed I go.
Sweet Dreams Everyone :)
